Rick and Joy

Rick and Joy

China Harvest Ministries was founded by Rick and Joy Haynes in May 1995. It is a 501-C3 non-profit organization founded for the purpose of helping the needy in China. Rick and Joy want to show the love that is shed abroad in their hearts to the Chinese people. They have it in their hearts to care for as many orphans as possible, to bring in medical teams to help the sick in the poor villages, and to feed the poor in the areas where there is a shortage of food.

Rick and Joy moved to Beijing in August of 1995 and studied the Chinese language for one and one half years so they could communicate with the people.

In January of 1997, They moved to Shenyang, in the Liaoning province and helped the people in that area for one year. After that, they moved to Dalian China, which is also in the Liaoning province, and have resided there since September of 1999.

In March of 2000, CHM opened a representative office in Dalian. We believe this will be the first of several offices that will be established across China.

In September of 2000, CHM funded the opening of an orphanage outside of Dalian and is continuing to fund and care for 14 children there.

Allen and Marcia

Allen and Marcia

In April 2001, CHM began hosting medical and dental teams from America and other countries to hold clinics in the poor areas of China.

We want to welcome Allen and Marcia Wilson from Perth Australia. They moved to Dalian in 2000 to help us. They have been a real blessing to us and now they are working for CHM here in Dalian. Allen and Marcia have seven children, 5 of which live in Australia and 2 that live with them here. They will be working on some of our other projects such as feeding the poor.
